Wellington Wood
Wellington Wood
Wellington Wood is an ancient semi-natural woodland dating back at least to the 12th century. It lies on the south slopes of a range of hills between Hereford and Leominster formed from Silurian Rocks called the Bishops Frome Limestone (previously Psammosteus Limestone). It is principally composed of sessile oak wood with silver birch and hazel.
