The drainage ditch at the bottom of the picture runs alongside a gravel track through the inclosure. There are a lot of fungi growing on the bank to the left. The spindly tree with a dark trunk growing in the bank on the right is an apple tree, and its small fruit have fallen and gathered in the ditch below.
