George's Meeting House, Exeter
George's Meeting House, Exeter
Built in 1760, with smart cornice, quoins, graceful parapet and Tuscan porch. The fine interior is preserved, but this is a very different sort of meeting house from that intended by Nonconformists when George I ascended the throne. From church to (very popular) pub.
