Previously layered hedge at Newhouse Farm
Previously layered hedge at Newhouse Farm
The right-angled bend formed between the trunk and main branches of this hedgerow tree show that it once formed part of a layered hedge. The other trees and bushes have died off or been removed leaving this pair to sprout up and create a reedy curtain. Just to the left of shot is TQ1115 : Newhouse Farm.
