On North Berwick Law
On North Berwick Law
The whale jaw bones near the summit were erected in June 2008 and are made from fibre glass cast in the mould of the previous bones. The first whale bones were erected on the summit about 300 years ago. North Berwick is in the background with the small island of Craigleith on the right between the bones. North Berwick Sports Centre is to the left of the walker. For a closer view of the centre, see NT5584 : North Berwick Sports Centre.
