Detail of The Deck at Dead Man's Corner, Whitstable
On this spot by the harbour was a railway junction serving the loading and unloading of cargo ships. Recently, leisure use of the harbour has increased significantly and "The Deck" was built this year to provide setting and a stage for gatherings and events. This detail is part of the "tide line" of white ceramic pebbles set into the face of the wall and were made by local people.
