NO7194 : The Cyclone of 2006
near to Bridge of Feugh, Aberdeenshire, Great Britain

The Cyclone of 2006
'Twas in the year of 2006 and on the nicht o' 26 October,
Which the people of Banchory and elsewhere will long remember,
The terrific cyclone that blew down trees,
And wrecked a fishing vessel on the North Sea
Oh! it was a pitiful and a terrible sight
To see the fallen trees lying left and right
Scattered aboot in the beautiful woods o' Tilquillie and surround
And the squirrels were afrighted, and their sorrow must have been profound
with apologies to William Topaz McGonagall (1830-1902)
