Roundhay Park Firework Display
The Firework Display in Roundhay Park, around 5 November each year, is a popular Leeds tradition. I don't know how long it has been running, but I certainly heard about it over 20 years ago. It's a free event staged by Leeds City Council, and apparently around 10,000 people attend each year (how do they count them in the dark?). It was certainly well attended in 2011, with the crowds stopping the traffic on Prince's Avenue and Street Lane as we left.
