NY8464 : Haydon Bridge Station
near to Haydon Bridge, Northumberland, Great Britain

Haydon Bridge Station
Haydon Bridge is one of the many intermediate stations on the Newcastle to Carlisle line.
Whilst the station itself has been 'modernised', this is a fine example of an early N.E.R signal box (1877) together with the traditional crossing gates.
In January 2009 the crossing gates were replaced by full width barriers, but still operated from the signal box. See NY8464 : Haydon Bridge Crossing
