Forging ahead!
Forging ahead!
Trusty Map Reader leading the way along the Jubilee Way, a long distance footpath through Leicestershire opened in 1977 to commemorate the Queen's Silver Jubilee. The path is clearly marked by a distinctive waymark arrow with a symbol of a majestically crowned orb. The undulating landscape here is the remnants of the once thriving ironstone mining in this area of North East Leicestershire.
