The old stables and stable yard were built in the 16th century by Sir Thomas Gresham and are the oldest buildings at Osterley.

Osterley is a country estate near Hounslow in West London. The house dates from Tudor times but was converted and extended in the late 18th century by Robert Adam for the Child banking family. It was given to the National Trust in 1949.
