Marriott's Way

A peaceful and secluded 21 mile walk along a former railway line close to the River Wensum. At Hellesdon it can be linked with the Norwich Riverside Walk (5 miles), and at Aylsham to the Bure Valley Path (9 miles) which, alongside the Bure Valley Railway, follows the River Bure through Coltishall to Wroxham. The Marriott's Way is named after William Marriott, former chief engineer and manager of the Midland and Great Northern Railway. See also LinkExternal link
