Stained glass windows
Stained glass windows
Many of the windows of Haddon Hall are the original leaded diamond pattern of around 1570, when glass windows were an absolute luxury. Many have stained glass inserts. This pair have royal coats of arms with the Order of the Garter motto 'Honi soit qui mal y pense' around the outside.
