Red Kites are a very common sight in the Chilterns these days. We watched this one for a while. Unusually it landed on the ground twice, for quite a few seconds each time. I have never seen that before. In case you cannot see it in this not very good picture, it is immediately below the right hand bale. The field had been used by cattle.
