St John the Evangelist's Church, Charlesworth

This church was built in 1848-9 and was formerly known as St John the Baptist's Church. It is built of coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings. It has slate roofs with stone coped gables and is cruciform in shape.

The church is a Grade II Listed building (under its former name as St John the Baptist's Church); it now appears to be known as St John the Evangelist Church.
