The boat in the foreground is the 'Glenshira' of Glasgow, which was built by Scotts of Bowling in 1953 and was the first 'puffer' built since before 1914. It was acquired from Scotland in 1973 by Peter Herbert of Bude, and it is seen here in that role shortly before it moved again to another owner. Further history can be found at
