Inspection At Barnetby
The Stourton Saloon, used by the engineers department for training and inspections makes its way into Barnetby station. The train is a class 100 diesel multiple unit built by the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company. They entered service between 1956 and 1958. Withdrawal of the type began in 1969 though a few remained in passenger service until 1988. This particular pair remained in engineering use until 1990 when they were scrapped.
