Monument to Sir Thomas Hooke - St Lawrence's church, Wootton St Lawrence
Easily missed as it is hidden away to the right of the altar in a recess in the south wall of the chancel. It is a beautifully sculpted monument to Sir Thomas Hooke bart. who died in 1677, and was carved in the 1750s by the renowned French sculptor Roubiliac. Link
