This road runs along the side of Loch Gorm and used to be a through route between the B8018 and the C15, but is now just a rough track. Although not shown as such on OS maps, local road signs (NR2465 : Road sign near Loch Gorm, Islay) indicate that approximately 1km of the road, including this section, still forms part of the public highway.
