This carousel, or merry-go-round, was set up in the Cornmarket for the four day Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre, held on the four days of the 1st to 4th December 2011. This was the 19th year the Fayre had been held, and as well as entertainments such as the carousel and by various performers, there were dozens of stalls of all sorts dispersed around the streets of the city centre. There were hundreds of people enjoying the Fayre.
