Wincham Wharf near Lostock Gralam, Cheshire
The converted warehouse is reputed to be the oldest on the Trent and Mersey canal, so it must date from the 1770s. For a while it was a pub and restaurant, called The Wharf, then briefly a restaurant called La Bella. Now it has become a wine bar and club (for over 25s) called Nectars. No points from me, as I doubt they have real ale or a "traditional" pub atmosphere. Can anyone prove me wrong?
