Seen from the Tiffield - Caldecote road bridge, this overgrown cutting was part of the Stratford & Midland Junction line which meandered across country from Blisworth in Northamptonshire to Broom Junction in Warwickshire. The line was abandoned in 1964, although passenger services ceased in 1952.
