The "Blue Leanie"
The "Blue Leanie"
Designed by GMW Partnership and built in 1982 as the head office for an life assurance society. The form is an oblique rhombic prism, on a square base with a 17 degree inclination. The streetside is screened by a line of mature plane trees, as reflections from the sun caused problems for passing drivers.
