Enclosed Steam Generator set
E. Reader (Nottingham) enclosed steam engine with Siemens generator. Used at the Bifurcated & Tubular Rivet Company. Generates 220v DC, 455A. The wiring has been altered to generate 110v due to the fact that not enough steam is available when all the engines are running.

Wollaton Hall Country Park
Wollaton hall is a former stately home in the Nottingham area. The house, grounds (five hundred acres) and outbuildings are run by Nottinghamshire county council. The steam museum is run my the Nottingham Arkwright society. Inside are many rare and steaming exhibits. Outside is a very rare 1840s horse Whim Gin colliery winder.
Also of interest is the Natural history museum with its geology section.
