Wollaton Hall Agricultural Buildings
Wollaton Hall Agricultural Buildings
The country park and hall have attached one of the best sets of agricultural buildings I have seen. This was the only shot I took due to poor light but I shall return. It is sited next to the steam museum.
Wollaton Hall Country Park
Wollaton hall is a former stately home in the Nottingham area. The house, grounds (five hundred acres) and outbuildings are run by Nottinghamshire county council. The steam museum is run my the Nottingham Arkwright society. Inside are many rare and steaming exhibits. Outside is a very rare 1840s horse Whim Gin colliery winder.
Also of interest is the Natural history museum with its geology section.
