SK5339 : Early Whim Gin
A horse gin built at Langton Colliery in 1844 and later used at Pinxton Colliery.
Wollaton Hall Country Park

Wollaton Hall is a former stately home in the Nottingham area. The house, grounds (five hundred acres) and outbuildings are run by Nottingham City Council. The steam museum is run by the Nottingham Arkwright society. Inside are many rare and steaming exhibits. Outside is a very rare 1840s horse Whim Gin colliery winder.
Also of interest is the Natural history museum with its geology section.
