Antrim Castle
Part of the ruins of Antrim Castle seen from the south western side of the Sixmilewater. The area is closed to the public during major restoration work.
Antrim Castle and grounds
Antrim Castle was built circa 1613 for the first Lord Masserene and rebuilt in 1633. The extensive grounds (now a public park) include the ruins of the castle (destroyed by fire in 1922) and Clotworthy House, built about 1840 as stables. Clotworthy House and the Castle grounds are now owned by Antrim Borough Council and are open to the public. More information available on this Wiki LinkExternal link
