London: covered traffic light in Oxford Street
Looking along London's most famous shopping street at just about dusk on New Year's Eve. Currently, the westbound carriageway of Oxford Street is closed off, and westbound traffic is using the opposite side while eastbound traffic must have been diverted to an alternative route.
The lights are still in operation because the directly opposite traffic has the same lights at the same time, hence the fact that the red light still shows through the cover.
