Looking east to the bridge and beyond to Harlaxton Clays Wood on the hill beyond. This bridge and embankments either side replaced a low-level bridge built at a time when canal restoration was not considered! The new bridge was opened on June 3rd 1995 and cost 350K - see LinkExternal link .
