Benthall Hall
Benthall Hall
There are 18 mullioned and transomed windows in this face of the hall alone.

I have never visited the interior - I am very sorry to say - as I understand that its carved oak staircase, decorated plaster ceilings and panelled walls are stunning. Plus it is full of interesting artifacts, furniture and paintings. And I have been a NT member for several years - so entry is effectively 'free', so is parking and the staff / volunteers actually call me ''sir''. Why am I so lethargic and apathetic?
