Dinas
Dinas
A distinctive flat topped rock outcrop overlooking the flood plain of Afon Glaslyn. The summit has traces of an Iron Age fort. The word 'Dinas' in Middle Welsh meant 'a fort'. In its more modern meaning it can also mean 'a city'.
