Anglo-Saxon sundial
The picture shows the South wall of the tower of Barnack church. The circular carved stone is said to be the remains of an Anglo-Saxon sundial. There is a small hole which might have taken a gnomon. The surrounding stonework is considered of Anglo-Saxon date.
