Reach Bridge to Burwell tower

The Cambridge-Mildenhall branch line closed to passengers in 1962 and to goods two years later. Having come in more or less straight lines along the edge of the fen from Fen Ditton, the line cut through The Devil's Dyke (the rampart shows clearly in the right middle distance, through the branches) and curved south and east of Burwell, where there was a station. Burwell church tower is in the distance.
