Bird-hide on Cors Caron, Ceredigion
The hide, built of Welsh oak, was opened in November 2006. It is easily accessible via the excellent boardwalk which allows visitors onto the bog from the car park by the B4343 north of Tregaron. Among the birds to be observed are hen harriers, whooper swans, large flocks of teal and wigeon, many red kites, more than hundred snipe, merlin and two or three little egrets are seen regularly.
