The Basin, at Camas nan Geall
The steep foreground area is in the grid square, whilst much of the bay is in NM5561. Viewed from the B8007, the area is known locally as 'The Basin' and was once inhabited. The area was cleared for sheep-farming in the early nineteenth century. Near the shoreline are remains of a walled churchyard and a Neolithic chambered cairn.
