Where Victoria Avenue once crossed the A52
When the Borrowash by-pass was opened in 1958, the junction of Victoria Avenue with the A52 was a standard flat crossroad. After many accidents had occurred at this point, a bridge and slip roads were built to carry Victoria Avenue over the busy A52 in 1969.
