Stone Rampart near Disused Railway Portland
Stone Rampart near Disused Railway Portland
The evidence of construction in stone is everywhere to be seen on Portland from the renowned Portland stone. Here there is a large stone construction, possibly a retaining wall originally on the north east coast near the site of a disused railway. In the background is the breakwater and beyond is the Dorset Coast.
