Ancient grave marker, Kirkton Churchyard
Ancient grave marker, Kirkton Churchyard
This carved figure lies among mostly 20th century headstones in this part of Kirkton Churchyard. It has the look of being a very old grave marker, but has been reused to mark a more modern burial. Kirkton Church had a Bi-centenial Celebration in 2008, but it is believed there was a place of worship on this site before the present church.
