Sandy Heath TV mast
The television transmitter on Sandy Heath serves much of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Northamptonshire. In addition to the television aerial at the top, it carries aerials for several radio stations and a multitude of point-to-point links. The mast was erected in 1966 and is 240m tall.
