Bridge across Ditchend Brook, Ditchend Bottom, New Forest
This bridge takes the gravel track across Ditchend Brook in Ditchend Bottom. To the left the track goes to Godshill Ridge, to the right it leads to Cockley Hill. During the Second World War this track was the main access road to the bombing targets on the ridge to the east. This valley bottom is popular with grazing commoners' stock, but the creatures were denied access while the bombing range was in operation during the early 1940s.
