The 'Odd Fellows Hall' was originally a Library, designed by John Foulston and built sometime between 1821 and 1824 after Devonport had grown sufficiently to be an administrative area in its own right rather than a small part of the much larger Plymouth administration. Shortly before it was built, there had been a lot of interest in all things Egyptian and the Library became known as the 'Egypt House' due to these influences.

It is now a pub.
