All that remains of George Dance's mansion of 1803 is the mighty Doric portico, inspired by the temples at Paestum. Grade II listed.
The rest went in 1960, and now a pond leads from the portico to the modern house behind, by Stephen Gardiner & Christopher Knight, which has a singular garden feature.
Behind are two mighty cedars.
