RAF Charterhall - WAAF Site No 1 - Entrance
A view of the entrance to the first of two WAAF sites for RAF Charterhall. In this compound, four Laing Huts (prefabricated wooden section buildings) together with an 'Ablutions and Latrines Block [Type 'A'] for 100' and a Stanton Air Raid Shelter were built. Only the Stanton and concrete footings of the huts and ablutions block remain.
