Clennell Street at the Scottish Border
Clennell Street at the Scottish Border
Clennell Street is an ancient droving route which crosses the border at a height of about 540m. The sign on the Scottish side prohibits motor vehicles during April and May. The English side of Clennell Street in the Northumberland National Park is a restricted byway, but Scotland only seems to restrict motor vehicles for two months of the year.
