Burnham-On-Sea - The Pavilion
The Pavilion is the shortest pier in Britain and was built between 1911 and 1914 and was the first concrete structure of its kind in Europe. Over the years the pier fell into a state of decay and there were calls for it to be demolished. It was saved in 1968 when a new owner restored the pier to its former glory.
