Sgwd Clun-gwyn waterfall on the Afon Mellte
A memorable and distinctive waterfall. One of a pair, with its sister fall just downstream, called Sgwd Isaf Clun-gwyn. Its name in Welsh translates as 'the fall of the white meadow'.

This fall is distinctive in that it is almost tiered and has formed a deep well or pool at its base. This is in modest flow - in full spate it must be a sight, and sound, to behold.

In summer many walkers sit on the ledge alongside the fall for lunch - an experience to remember.
