The road meanders through the forest to the banks of Llyn Brianne, the dam, and via Troed-rhiw-ruddwen to Cwm Doethie and Cwm Pysgotwr. What a superb bike ride, because much of it is over high ground across open moorland or felled areas, as well as through mature forest.
