TQ2076 : Mortlake riverside at dusk, low tide (3)

The view is upstream. The tall building on the river bank is the old Mortlake maltings, which seems to me an interesting feature of the Thames skyline - I hope very much it gets a new lease of life as apartments or offices. Beyond it is Chiswick Bridge.

For a view of this stretch of river as it is in summer, see TQ2076 : Low tide at Mortlake Both shots were taken from much the same spot, though this January view makes use of rather more zoom.
