This is a short dead end diversion off the road which meanders through the forest from Soar-y-Mynydd to the banks of Llyn Brianne (Nant Brianne arm), the dam, and via Troed-rhiw-ruddwen to Cwm Doethie and Cwm Pysgotwr. The diversion leads to a heavy vehicle turning area.
