SN0234 : The chapel in the valley
near to Pontfaen, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

The chapel in the valley
Viewed from the south across the Afon/River Gwaun. In this narrow glacial valley, the chapel, the pub (its near neighbour to the west) and the school (to the east)are strung out like beads on a necklace along with scattered farms and clusters of houses. Despite having no real centre, the community remains a strong one with its own Welsh dialect and traditions.
